Botox®

A prescription medicine that is carefully injected into specific facial muscles to relax and soften wrinkle lines. Botox® has many purposes, but is often used to temporarily improve moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in people 18 to 65 years of age. It is also administered frequently to the forehead and crow’s feet areas of the face.

Chemical peels

A method of skin rejuvenation where a special formula is applied to the skin to aid in the removal of damaged outer layers to leave skin feeling softer and smoother. Chemical peels are one of the least invasive skin rejuvenation methods and are performed in clinic without the need of general anesthesia or sedation. The application process typically lasts about 30 minutes.

Types of chemical peels

Dr. Bronson and his team offer three types of cosmetic peels for a fraction of the cost of more expensive photo therapy methods.  They are as follows:

• Lactic Acid Peel: This type of peel contains 70 percent lactic acid. It is a preferred type of chemical peel by many because of lactic acid's reputation as a gentler alpha hydroxy acid.
• Jessner’s Peel: A Jessner's peel is actually a combination of ingredients mixed into a single formula. It is considered a light chemical peel that is slightly stronger than both the alpha and beta hydroxy formulas.
• Frost Peel: This peel is a combination of a Jessner’s Peel and 20 percent Trichloracetic acid.

Injectable fillers

Unlike Botox®, which targets muscles, injectable fillers are used to fill in areas of the skin that have deep creases and folds to restore skin’s natural volume.
