Dizziness and imbalance
Sanford physical therapists have advanced training to treat dizziness and imbalance. Using state-of-the-art technology, a patient's posture and balance control can be assessed. The physical therapist will complete an evaluation and develop a treatment plan based on the diagnosis or cause of the problem(s). This plan typically includes exercises to be performed both in physical therapy as well as at home.
Physical therapy goals will include improving balance and steadiness and decreasing or possibly eliminating dizziness. The physical therapists will work closely with your medical provider to ensure comprehensive care for your condition.
