Sanford Health hosts free presentation about a screening that can help prevent heart attacks

(Bismarck, N.D.)—Sanford Health’s Stephen Korte, MD, cardiologist, and John Miller, MD, radiologist, will give a free presentation about a screening that allows doctors to see the levels of calcified plaque in a person’s arteries. The screening results can help doctors work with patients to prevent or minimize further heart issues, including heart attacks, by treating problems early. This Doc Talk will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, in the Ritterbush Auditorium on the fourth floor of the UND Center for Family Medicine, 701 E. Rosser Ave., Bismarck.

Doc Talk is a free Sanford Health community education series. Register online at bismarck.sanfordhealth.org/doctalk or call Sanford Women’s Health Center at (701) 323-6376.
