“Sanford Health Dickinson Clinic has been a proud member of the Dickinson community for more than 25 years,” said Craig Lambrecht, MD, president of the Bismarck region of Sanford Health. “The need for expanded care in Dickinson, Stark County and surrounding areas is great, and we know we must grow to meet those needs. We are committed to providing high quality health care close to home, and this new facility will help us further that mission.”

The new clinic will replace the existing Sanford Health Dickinson Clinic, and it is expected to be open in summer 2014.

In addition to the family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN and general surgery services Sanford Health currently provides in Dickinson, the new clinic, which will be more than three times the size of the current one, will house a walk-in clinic, an ambulatory surgery center, infusion services for cancer treatment and space for mobile MRI and CT scans. The clinic will have room for more than 20 physicians and will accommodate more opportunities for visiting specialists. Sanford Health is analyzing additional services and community needs for the clinic, as well.
