Sanford Health hosts Christmas Remembrance Service

(Bismarck, N.D.)—Sanford’s Birth Center and Pastoral Care departments will host a Christmas Remembrance Service 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, in the skywalk between the second floors of the hospital and the Seventh & Rosser Clinic, 414 N. Seventh St., Bismarck. The memorial service is dedicated to all babies who have died before or shortly after birth and to all children of any age who have died.

During the day on Dec. 6, people are invited to leave a white flower at the base of the Angel of Hope statue at Fairview Cemetery, 2929 E. Century Avenue. Throughout the United States, memorial services are being held at this time and date wherever there is an Angel of Hope statue.

Ornaments in memory of babies and children will be placed on a Christmas tree displayed during the service. To register for the service and/or have an ornament inscribed with a baby or child’s name, call 323-6086 or visit bismarck.sanfordhealth.org/gardenofpeace.
