Sanford Health weight-loss surgery information session scheduled
 
(Williston, N.D.)—Sanford Health is hosting a free weight-loss information session from 4−5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4 at the Airport International Inn, 3601 Second Ave. W., Williston.

Sanford Health’s Michael Schmit, MD, is a board-certified and designated Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence® general surgeon. He will review the basic concepts of obesity, provide an overview of weight-loss surgery options and discuss patient requirements in order to be eligible for surgery.
