For the second year in a row, the Sanford Psychalists team was awarded “Most Creative Team.” The team was made up of Sanford Behavioral Health employees dressed up as “Despicable Me” characters, including yellow and purple minions and the beloved villain, Gru.

“We were once again blown away by the community support of this event,” said Beth Thune, GABR co-director. “Businesses, local organizations, families and individuals all pitched in to raise an astounding amount of money that will allow us to continue to meet the needs of local families.”

GABR has grown to be the largest fundraiser of its kind in the United States. Since it began, GABR has raised more than $2.5 million.
