Sanford Health nurse achieves clinical ladder III status
BISMARCK, N.D.—Gail Mason, Sanford registered nurse, successfully attained clinical ladder III status, which recognizes nurses who have demonstrated growth and leadership in nursing.
To achieve this status, Mason demonstrated leadership and advancement in her unit. She developed the patient education tool titled, “Nosebleed/Epistaxis protocol,” and brought the clinic patient referral/transfer of care process to the forefront for review of best practices and implementation strategies.
Gail Mason has worked at Sanford Health for more than 24 years.
