Sanford administrator elected as vice chair of the North Dakota State Health Council
(Bismarck, N.D.)—Wade Peterson, Sanford Health Sunset Drive Continuing Care Center administrator, has been elected to the vice chair seat on the North Dakota State Health Council. This council serves as the North Dakota Department of Health's governing and advisory body. The State Health Council's duties include monitoring overall health care costs and quality of health care in North Dakota. The council's 11 members are appointed by the governor for three-year terms.
This is Peterson’s second appointed term with the council. He has served as an administrator with Sanford Health for 15 years.
