News releasesOct. 3, 2012printer friendly Sanford Orthopedics & Sports Medicine welcomes Dr. Carpenter(Bismarck, N.D.)—Matthew Carpenter, MD, orthopedic surgeon, recently joined Sanford Orthopedics & Sports Medicine—225 N. Seventh St. in the Seventh & Thayer Clinic. As an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Carpenter provides operative and non-operative treatment for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. These include degenerative conditions such as arthritis of the hip, knee and shoulder as well as traumatic injuries including fractures, dislocations or injury to ligaments and tendons. He has a special interest in hip and knee replacement surgery as well as arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder. Dr. Carpenter, who grew up in Bismarck, is pleased to provide care to patients of all ages. Dr. Carpenter completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals, Milwaukee, and he earned his medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Grand Forks.
