Sanford Health hosts infant committal and remembrance service

(Bismarck, N.D.)—Sanford Health will host a service Monday, Oct. 15, dedicated to all babies who died before or shortly after birth, or children of any age who have died. Those whose lives have been touched by one of these little ones are encouraged to attend.

The committal and remembrance service will be held 6 p.m. at the Garden of Peace in Fairview Cemetery, 2929 E. Century Ave., Bismarck. The Garden of Peace is in the southwest corner of the cemetery. In case of inclement weather, the service will be in the chapel at Sanford Medical Center.

Registration is recommended. To register, please contact Chaplain Burnie Kunz, Sanford pastoral care coordinator, at 323-6086. To find out more about the Garden of Peace, visit bismarck.sanfordhealth.org/gardenofpeace.

Oct. 15 is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.
