News releasesSept. 24, 2012printer friendly Tanya Skager, MD, receives Young Hawk Award(Dickinson, N.D.)—Tanya Skager, MD, family medicine physician at Sanford Health Dickinson Clinic, was honored with the Dickinson State University Young Hawk Award. The award is presented annually by DSU Alumni and the Foundation. It recognizes graduates of DSU who have distinguished themselves in their personal and professional lives. “To be recognized for the years of hard work and the dedication it took to get where I am is truly an honor,” Dr. Skager said. Dr. Skager graduated from DSU in 1997. She completed her medical degree at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Grand Forks. As a family medicine physician at Sanford Health Dickinson Clinic, Dr. Skager provides health care for all members of the family—infants, children, adolescents, adults and seniors. She has been employed with Sanford since 2010.
