Sanford Medical Center welcomes Steven Schmidt, MD

(Bismarck, N.D.)—Steven Schmidt, MD, an emergency medicine physician, recently joined Sanford Emergency & Trauma Center. As an emergency physician, Dr. Schmidt works to stabilize all injuries, illnesses and trauma cases that enter the Sanford Emergency & Trauma Center—a Level II trauma center.

Dr. Schmidt, who is originally from Killdeer, N.D., earned his medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Grand Forks, and he completed his residency in emergency medicine at University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha.
