Susan Thompson received her master’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1981. She has five areas of focus: family, individual, marital, group and child/infant therapy.

Thompson treats sexual and physical abuse issues, general mental health problems, parent/child conflict, retirement mental health and death and dying issues. She assists people to focus on personal values, spiritual beliefs and personal relations to facilitate a solution to their problem.

She has been at Sanford Health for 15 years and has 31 years of social work experience. She is available to lecture on any of the above topics.
