Dickinson: Preventing Diabetic Foot Problems
Diabetes often causes nerve damage, or neuropathy, which usually affects the feet as they contain the longest nerves in the body. This lack of feeling can cause serious foot problems. Join Sanford experts Clark Fullmer, DPM, podiatrist, and Kimberly Hamburger, RN CDE, for a Doc Talk where they will explain how to detect diabetic foot problems and, most importantly, how to properly care for feet in order to prevent problems from developing in the first place.
