Who we serve

The primary focus of the Sanford Health Dakota Children's Advocacy Center is sexual abuse; however, we also provide services to victims of physical abuse.

Gender

One in four girls and one in six boys will be sexually abused before the age of 18. In fact, more than one in 10 of all substantiated child abuse and neglect referrals to social service agencies nationwide are victims of sexual abuse.
