Heartsaver pediatric first aid
Sanford Health's Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid course is intended to educate the layperson about recognition and basic stabilization of various traumatic and medical emergencies prior to involvement by professional rescuers.
Course cards will be issued upon successful course completion and will expire in two years. Individuals whose cards are expiring are encouraged to retake the course.
Intended
audience:
Those involved in child care who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, such as child care workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors and coaches for children's sports organizations.
