First aid

Sanford Health's First Aid courses are intended to educate the layperson about recognition and basic stabilization of various traumatic and medical emergencies prior to involvement by professional rescuers.

Course cards will be issued upon successful course completion and will expire in two years. Invididuals whose cards are expiring are encouraged to retake the course.

Intended audience:

Lay rescuers with a duty to respond, daycare providers, foster parents, or other lay rescuers who may need to respond to an emergency.
